Her little face is now fully formed - we'll get a sneak peek of that soon during our 3D ultrasound scheduled for May 10th. This month she starts to settle into sleep cycles, snoozing about 12 to 14 hours a day (she takes after her mama) and when she's awake she takes after her Dad at the soccer field moving and kicking all around - it's so weird!
Oh and I'm definitely pregnant now (if you had any doubts) the belly bump has been recognized by a few unsuspecting individuals now proving that I'm a pregnant woman. I have to admit I'm enjoying the attention and the baby gifts are already piling up. I'm excitedly counting down - 4 more months before I'm doing the listening (to cries that is...).

Do you know about sving the ebelicle cord blood.
Its to help your baby later if she gets sick.
Love, Frank
Yes we heard about that and highly considered it. However after a bit of research we decided against it.
What really swayed us was the fact that the American Association of Pediatrics discourages it. Here's what they have to say: "Because there are no scientific data at the present time to support autologous cord blood banking and given the difficulty of making an accurate estimate of the need for autologous transplantation and the ready availability of allogeneic transplantation, private storage of cord blood as 'biological insurance' should be discouraged."
Instead we are looking into cord blood donation which is highly encouraged - that will be a conversation I have with my doctor at my next appointment.
