I am at 20-weeks today which marks my halfway point and I have to admit time has flown by. I can't believe I'll be a mom in 4 1/2 more months! It's exciting and terrifying at the same time.This past weekend my cousin Jessica and I went through and started the baby registry - what an overwhelming experience. There's so much 'stuff' - I don't know what I really need and what's a waste. Luckily I have a couple of friends who have recently gone through this so I spent an hour with my friend Michelle going through the registry online - she has a little girl, Lily who's almost 2 and is working on #2 and is due just 2-weeks before me. And another expert mom, Theresa who is the mother of twin boys, David and Jaden who are almost 2 and a third, Kaleb who's a few months now is going to go with me to Babies-R-Us this weekend to show me the lay of the land. I don't know what I would do with out them.
Baby Girl Brill is suppose to be the size of a cantaloupe this week although we all know she's been ahead of the curve in the growth department so although the average is 6.5 inches I have to believe she's between 7-7.5 inches by now but who knows. Although most people can't tell I'm pregnant my bump is growing - I've gained 12lbs and added 7-inches to my waistline. But I'm still waiting for that stranger to ask when I'm expecting - any guesses on when that will happen? Here are some pics of what my belly looks like now:
