Week 10 - Baby Brill is the Size of a Walnut

Just a couple of weeks shy of entering the 2nd trimester and things are continuing to go well. The baby is now the size of a walnut with a complete heart and growing bones - she even has taste buds now! I think she likes Indian food based on my diet choices lately.

I've been feeling better since my 'morning sickness sucks' post on Friday. I can't say I feel 'normal' but I have a feeling I'm entering a new world of 'normalcy' that I'll have to adapt to.

My next appointment is actually a 'Healthy Beginnings' prenatal class that Kaiser requires. Jon and I will be attending the class together on Thursday - after that I think they'll schedule out my next few appointments. I hope they can convince Jon that his diaper changing machine won't work - I'll let him explain that one...

To my daughter...You once said to me that you are planning a big family. When you go thru the 9 months pregancy you instantly forget what you when through after seeing the mircle you and Jonathan have created. You will forget the heartburn, quizzy tummy, backaches, and the constant kicking. Let me that forget the midnight cravies. When the baby makes his first smile, get his tooth, and take his first step, that is the beginning of a new generation. It begins to get harder but with constant love and preservance the results are great! Look at you. God Bless you both!!
